Necklace of Garden Candytuft Flower & Bee Glass Bead
Necklace of Garden Candytuft Flower & Bee Lampwork Glass Bead and Antique Kimono Silk Fabric Cord sra
Thank you for your looking at my jewerly. I am a Japanese glass bead artist, Ayako Hattori living in a small town near Tokyo, Japan.
This necklace is very Japanese style. I am proud to sell the jewerly outside Japan.
The bead is ‘Tonbodama,’ Japanese style lampwork bead. "Tonbodama" loosely translates to "dragonfly eyes" in English. Approximate size of the bead is 2.4 cm length x 2.0 cm diameter. It is made by me. It is made of Japanese Satake glass. This glass has very soft and subtle colors with a low melting point.
Please take a moment and look at the delicate color and designs of my bead. Garden candytuft flowers bloom in a garden. Bees are flying around them. Such beauty can only be found in Japanese Tonbodama! As with all handcrafted items, no two are alike (although similar).
The fabric cord is made of antique kimono. So, it is very presious. Old and very beautiful. The length of the cord is about 56 cm. The diameter is about 5 mm. I add 5cm chain with the clasp.
The chain and the clasp are not real silver. The rhodium coating has good silver color and you don't need to polish it to keep it clean.
WARNING
This product is made of glass. I anneal my products with a kiln, but a glass product can still break. When it is broken, it is dangerous. The splinters might hurt you. The broken edges are sharp and the sprinters could fly off or fall around.
Please don’t drop, throw, hit, heat or rapidly cool glass product. A shock or temperature change could make damage to it. A metal product with an edge or rough surface might hurt a glass product.
Small glass item has choking hazard. Please do not let the children under 6 years old touch it.
