Born in Kochi Prefecture.
Obtained Bachelor of Arts Degree in Ceramic Arts at the Faculty of Art and Design of Kyoto University of Art and Design.
I am currently working in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
I design my ceramics in such a way that their expressions change gradually in daily life, by carefully adding texture to base material and glaze so that they resemble natural landscapes. Most of my works are produced by incorporating hand forming and press molding methods. My aim is to express understated beauty of everyday vessels that add a grace to dining scenes.
